Expert on fraud risk in ALE/FRV claims, attorney Jon Colman will present at IASIU 2019 in Phoenix. It’s the largest annual insurance fraud conference.

Underway September 8 to 11, 2019, the event features world renown SIU professionals speaking on detecting, investigating and deterring insurance fraud.

Jon is joined by co-presenters, Dawnde Pence, manager of SIU Claims with the Interinsurance Exchange of the Automobile Club and Mike McGee, a special agent from the National Insurance Crime Bureau. The team provides insights from the legal, insurance and crime prevention perspective.

Their session, Catastrophic Fraud Losses, reveals red flags in homeowner claims from recent massive fires, floods and extreme weather. Learn about deception in wildfire smoke and ash claims, hurricane and flood claims, and the best way to investigate them.

They will also discuss additional living expenses for insureds who are displaced or forced to evacuate, even when they may have no damage to their home or possessions.
