Catastrophes Bring New Insurance Fraud Threat — Additional Living Expense Claims

Very few insurance carriers investigate the resulting additional living expense (ALE) claims. That means the industry is experiencing its own flood—attempts to collect inflated or fraudulent reimbursements for replacement housing, food and related costs.
