In law firm administration since 2002, Kym took on management responsibilities for the CPLG’s day-to-day operations in 2009. She directs legal time and billing systems, calendaring systems, recruitment, training, implementing carrier guidelines and company compliance. In addition to accounting, human resources and office management, Kym also leads the team in client relations, marketing, training events and client event planning.
Staying in touch
Kym likes to attend industry conferences alongside managing partner Jon Colman and the firm’s other speakers to check in with longstanding clients and develop new relationships. She’s proud of her part in CPLG’s stable and enduring relationships with clients and vendors—often more than 20 years.
“We focus on maintaining trust and mutual respect,” says Kym, “as well as delivering solid outcomes. And we’re thrilled to see it turns into happy clients and referrals from carrier to carrier.”
Emphasizing staff development
Dedicated to the growth and development of her staff, Kym starts by creating an environment that people enjoy. The office is friendly and casual, where accomplishments, holidays and sports events are all celebrated.
