Daniel A. Everakes is a partner with Colman Perkins Law Group and is a member of both the California and Nevada bars. He focuses his practice on defense of personal injury claims, premises liability, automobile liability, construction law and related matters, including an extensive practice in water mitigation claims.

Prior to joining the firm, Dan spent three years practicing insurance defense litigation with an emphasis on personal injury, property damage and professional liability. He has handled matters from the inception to conclusion, including discovery, motions, depositions, mediations, bench trials and jury trials. Dan also handled construction disputes between homeowners, contractors and insurance companies.

He is admitted in all California state courts as well as federal court in the Central District of California. He was admitted to the State Bar of Nevada in May 2014 and anchors the firm’s Nevada practice out of his office in Las Vegas.

During law school Dan was a member of the San Diego International Law Journal. He graduated from University of San Diego School of Law in 2008. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of California at San Diego in 2000.

In his free time, Dan enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter. They love watching the Dodgers and Lakers together. He also plays golf and loves traveling.
