L.A. Insurance Defense Attorney Leads 2022 CLM Panel on CAT Fraud

2022 CLM Conference logoJon Colman, managing attorney at Glendale-based Colman Perkins Law Group, will present methods for spotting and preventing catastrophic loss fraud at the 2022 Claims and Litigation Management Conference on March 24.

The Palm Desert event will host this panel, where Jon will discuss the unique challenges and opportunities posed by hurricanes, floods, wildfires and the grandaddy of them all, COVID-19.

The topic is relevant to adjusters and investigators, who are often unfamiliar with these areas. They may overlook exaggerated claims and cooperative efforts among unscrupulous insureds, public adjusters and attorneys.

Learn tips for recognizing and investigating these questionable claims from a panel of seasoned pros. Jon is joined in his session by Cathy Gicker of Allstate Insurance, Dawnde Pence of Auto Club of So. Calif. and Jeffrey Rapattoni of Marshall Dennehey et al.

In addition to Jon’s workshop, the event includes timely subjects on several tracks, from professional liability and subrogation to construction and claims management.
