Timothy Fay is a claims legal analyst for Colman Perkins Law Group. He brings 25 years of insurance claims investigations experience to his position. He is happily contributing his years of experience to the team at CPLG, where he is met with myriad new challenges and learning opportunities.

Tim began his career at Infinity Insurance, starting as a desk adjuster assigned to handle auto liability claims, determining coverage issues, liability, and damages, evaluating bodily injuries, and reporting and assessing large loss claims and reserves. His assignment locations ranged from New York to Florida, Texas to California. He also worked for several years piloting and managing an in-house subrogation unit, but his main passion is defense litigation. He has observed multiple trials and has participated in many in-person and remote mediations since beginning in defense litigation in 2006.

Tim “retired” after his last role with Kemper Insurance in 2022, but came to CPLG because he missed the challenges of defense work and the opportunity to learn something new every day. He believes each file has a uniqueness, a life of its own that piques his curiosity.

When not working, Tim is usually in the woods searching for his golf ball. He opines that full-time retirement did not appreciably lower his handicap.
