Sara Young is a civil litigation attorney with Colman Perkins Law Group. Her practice focuses on the defense of personal injury, premise, and automobile liability. She handles all phases of litigation from inception to settlement/trial conclusion, including law and motion, discovery, party/witness/expert deposition, pre/post trial preparation.
Prior to joining the Colman Perkins Law Group, she was a supervisor with a caseload in a staff counsel department of a national insurance company. Her appellate experience includes two published California cases and three unpublished opinions.
She graduated from the University of Hawaii with a bachelor’s in business administration and obtained her juris doctorate from Whittier School of Law. Sara is admitted to practice law in California and before the United States District Courts, Central, Southern and Eastern Districts.
Her community service contributions include volunteering on Boy Scout Troop 378 Executive Committee as the former advancement chair. She served on the board and as a division commissioner for a non-profit youth baseball/softball league. Sara was a founding board member of a youth basketball non-profit organization that operated a fall league for 1,900 girls and boys from grades one to nine. She also did a brief volunteer stint at the local care home for the elderly located in the South Bay.
