Robert “Bobby” Kane has been an attorney at Colman Perkins Law Group since 2025. Before working at CPLG, Bobby was a certified law clerk in the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office, where he conducted direct examinations during an attempted murder/arson trial in the Target Crimes Unit and presented more than twenty (20) preliminary hearings to L.A. Superior Court judges in the Preliminary Hearings Unit. Bobby began his work as an attorney in civil litigation in 2020, representing victims of sexual assault for two years. He then transitioned to public entity defense for more than two years. He now practices general civil litigation defense with Colman Perkins.

Before attending law school, Bobby trained in Muay Thai, a martial art and full-contact combat sport, for six years, including two years in Thailand with the nationally renowned Thai champion Poot Lorleck. Bobby worked for four years as an English teacher in Thailand and San Diego before pursuing his lifelong dream of fighting for justice as an attorney.

These days, Bobby has a continued passion for Muay Thai and western boxing and spends his time training, bicycling, hiking, and traveling the world with his loving partner and their furry family. Bobby applies the spirit of the martial arts to his legal practice, where he fights in the pursuit of justice in every case.
