With over 30 years of experience spanning the legal, mortgage, and finance industries, Michele brings a depth of knowledge and a sharp investigative mindset to Colman Perkins Law Group. 

She began her career as an insurance defense and family law litigation paralegal before transitioning into mortgage and finance, where she spent 20 years as a government-certified FHA/VA loan underwriter. During that time, she developed a strong aptitude and passion for identifying and uncovering fraud. This unique combination of legal and financial expertise gives Michele a well-rounded perspective in claims analysis.

Before calling CPLG home, Michele launched her insurance career with State Farm as a Total Loss Adjuster. She then moved into SIU (Special Investigation Unit), where she received extensive training and developed strong skills in interviewing, investigations, and managing Examinations Under Oath, focusing on complex cases involving organized fraud ring activity.

Michele is a proud mama of four children, ranging in age from 10 to 30, and the ringmaster of a lively household that includes a Great Dane and two mischievous orange tabby “counter surfers.” 

Much of her free time is spent at the hockey rink, cheering on her boys, or traveling with her Disney-obsessed family in search of their next magical adventure. She also enjoys spending time with friends and family, baking with her daughter, and binge-watching true crime investigations.
