Melissa Arellano brings more than 20 years of combined legal and insurance experience to her role as a Claims Legal Analyst for the Colman Perkins Law Group. Her background spans a wide range of experience, from the brokerage insurance industry to clerking in complex insurance defense litigation, giving her a comprehensive understanding of how claims develop from the incident to resolution.

She holds a California Resident Insurance Producer license and has earned the Commercial Lines Coverage Specialist designation, strengthening her technical understanding of coverage, risk, and policy structure. She has spent thousands of hours in field underwriting and educating both policyholders and insurance carriers on risk exposure and management.

Two decades of legal experience in both Plaintiff and Defense Personal Injury Litigation have given Melissa unique insight into the process of determining the real value of a claim in a world apt to mistake legitimacy for greed.

Outside of work, Melissa enjoys exploring and photographing this beautiful planet (featured to the right is Yosemite Valley as seen from Glacier Point), preaching the good news of God’s Kingdom in her door-to-door ministry, and conducting free home Bible studies with all those yearning for truth and a close personal relationship with their Creator.
