Maria Najera rose to Colman Perkins Law Group's senior legal assistant supervisor in 2023. She joined CPLG 10 years earlier, becoming legal assistant to Managing Partner Jonathan H. Colman and Partner James J. Perkins.

Beginning her legal secretary career in 2000, she has worked for law offices specializing in both plaintiff and defense litigation.

Maria earned a paralegal certificate from Los Angeles Valley College, and is a member of the Los Angeles Legal Secretary Association.

A proud Californian, Maria believes that with hard work, motivation and education you can achieve anything.

She is inspired by football coach Jimmy Johnson, who said, “The difference between ordinary and extraordinary is that little extra.”
