Laynna Olehy brings over 25 years of insurance industry and investigation expertise to her current position as a Claims Legal Analyst at Colman Perkins Law Group.

She began her career in the insurance industry as a personal lines account manager for Farmers Insurance agents, followed by several years as a producer and personal lines account manager, with some focus on commercial lines, for several independent insurance agencies. After working as a background investigator and completing an investigator internship at the Santa Clara County Public Defender’s Office, she pursued a career that combined her knowledge of insurance and her passion for investigations. For several years, she was a claims and SIU field investigator for private investigation firms where she conducted investigations on auto, property, general liability, premises liability, workers’ compensation, injury and other insurance claims for multiple insurance carriers, third party administrators and self-insured organizations.

Most recently, Laynna was an SIU field investigator for GEICO where she investigated auto insurance claims, which included assisting defense counsel prepare cases for examinations under oath. Her investigations often resulted in substantial premium and claims fraud avoidance.

In her free time, Laynna enjoys jogging, hiking, taking her dog on walks and spending time with her husband and their two daughters.
