Joanne joined Colman Perkins Law Group’s administrative team in 2025. She graduated from California State University, Fullerton with a degree in English, where she developed a strong foundation in writing, critical thinking, and effective communication.

Before working at the firm, Joanne worked as a teacher's assistant, where she witnessed firsthand the importance of education and how learning helps people grow every day. Her involvement in the classroom strengthened her appreciation for curiosity, maintaining patience, and lifelong learning.

Joanne has dedicated much of her time to volunteer work within her hometown community. She worked with her city council and local organizations, gaining valuable experience engaging with neighbors, listening to community concerns, and learning about the hopes people have for the future. She volunteered at her local food bank, helping prepare and distribute food boxes to those in need. Joanne continues to volunteer whenever she can, as giving back to her community remains important to her.

Outside of work, Joanne enjoys spending time with her friends and family, going to the movies, working out, and exploring new coffee shops – something she loves doing as a self-proclaimed coffee connoisseur. She is also an animal lover and enjoys spending time with her two dogs, Daisy and Tiger, and her cat, Clemson.
