Jessica Cooper started with Colman Perkins Law Group in the summer of 2024. Jessica’s legal experience began in 2008, working in various areas of civil litigation before landing in insurance defense work. She believes the variety of cases involved in insurance defense was an exciting change that has kept every day interesting since.

While working as a receptionist at a small law firm in Roseville, CA, Jessica’s legal career began with an opportunity to be trained as a legal assistant. She worked directly with the Partner, learning all of the procedures and details of working a case from initiation through trial in both state and federal courts. She worked closely with clients, experts, counsel, and adjustors, gathering information and maintaining case files. This hands-on environment nurtured a fascination for litigation that has carried through for over 15 years.

Jess grew up in Northern California and has a deep love for beaches, good coffee, and a beautiful skyline. She stays busy raising her three sons, with the majority of her free time involving soccer, jiujitsu, and basketball tournaments and making time to spoil her Belgian Malinois, Joey, and tabby cat, Winnie.
