Jessica Carp graduated from Cal Poly (California Polytechnic State University) San Luis Obispo in 2025 with a Bachelor of Science in Journalism and a minor in Law.

Throughout college, she worked as a student journalist for ACP (Associated Collegiate Press) Hall of Fame inductee Mustang News and anchored news shows for Cal Poly’s radio station, KCPR. Jessica worked as a political reporter and assignment editor for KCBX and anchored live television coverage for the 2024 election night in San Luis Obispo.

Jessica is interested in politics and law and is considering attending law school. In her free time, she likes to craft, spend time with friends, and enjoys a good story.
