Jayme Thometz is a claims professional with 30 years of insurance experience. She brings a strong background in California nonstandard auto claims operations to her role as a Claims Legal Analyst, including liability, bodily injury, property damage, total loss, fire/theft, and regulatory compliance.

Most recently, Jayme served as Assistant Vice President of Claims at Kemper Insurance, where she held senior leadership responsibility for California first- and third-party claims operations. Her experience also includes leadership roles as Claims Director and Claims Manager. In those roles, she managed casualty groups and supervised complex claim evaluations, giving her a broad perspective on claim evaluation, resolution strategy, operational performance, and compliance.

Jayme began her career as a Field Claims Adjuster, handling investigations, liability determinations, property damage estimates, bodily injury evaluations, negotiations, and claim resolution. She holds a BA in Business Administration from California State University, San Bernardino, and a Legal Principle Claim Specialist designation from the American Education Institute.

Outside of work, Jayme is a lifelong Dodgers fan who enjoys cooking, traveling, spending time with her family, and cheering on her son in his many sports activities.
