Graham Scott
Of Counsel
Graham Scott is of counsel to the Colman Perkins Law Group. He has worked almost entirely in civil litigation since 2005. His practice focuses on the defense of personal injury claims, premises liability, automobile liability, and related matters. Before joining the firm in 2025, Graham’s recent legal career included being of counsel to a firm with a focus on defending public entities from personal injury claims at both the state and federal levels and being a partner in a boutique plaintiffs’ firm.
He handles the litigation of matters from the initial responsive pleading through trial. Graham has completed scores of mediations and arbitrations and has brought over two dozen cases to verdict. He is admitted to all California state courts and the Northern, Eastern, and Central California United States District Courts. Graham has two published opinions to his credit, including a decision affirming his win on a motion for summary judgment involving the special circumstances exception to the rule that a bailee (temporary possession) of a vehicle does not owe a duty to protect third parties from reckless driving by a thief. (May v. Nine Plus Properties, Inc. (2006) 143 Cal.App.4th 1538.)
Though he was born in California, Graham grew up in the mountains of Idaho, where he honed his skills at hunting, backcountry camping, and fishing. In his free time now, he can usually be found roaming dog-friendly beaches with his wife and their three adopted special needs miniature schnauzers or touring on his motorcycle.
