Demetria Baxter is a paralegal with Colman Perkins Law Group and provides support for attorneys in the Glendale, Irvine and Las Vegas offices. She drafts authorizations, issues subpoenas and obtains and indexes the resulting discovery records the subpoenas produce.

In addition, she has assisted in the preparation and service of trial subpoenas and management of the subsequent records.

Demetria began her legal career as an intern for the public defender’s office in Riverside, assisting attorneys in court with trial and court document preparation. Upon graduating from the University of California, Irvine, she worked as a legal assistant in the criminal defense field. Demetria has experience in both criminal and civil litigation.

When she isn’t working, Demetria enjoys spending time with her mother and her two cats. She takes pleasure in dancing, practicing martial arts and going to the beach. Her plan is to attend law school and become a licensed attorney.
