David Lieberthal is a seasoned attorney with over two decades of experience in various facets of the legal profession. Admitted to the State Bar of California in 2001, David has built a robust career marked by his commitment to excellence in legal practice, corporate governance, and community service.

His expertise includes all phases of insurance defense litigation, with a particular emphasis on large exposure injury accidents. David is also experienced in corporate governance, having served as Chief Operating Officer for two companies providing health and safety laboratory testing in highly regulated industries. In addition, David has served as a Director for several non-profit organizations, including The Torch
Foundation, Inc.

David earned his Juris Doctor from the University of San Diego School of Law in 2000. During his time there, he was actively involved with the Pro Bono Law Society and
received recognition as both an oral advocacy and mediation specialist. While in law school, David completed two judicial internships: one in the Los Angeles Superior Court and the other in the United States District Court for the Southern District of California.

David earned his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of California, Irvine. Following this, he completed an internship with the Commission on Security and Cooperation in Europe, a bicameral bipartisan commission of the United States House
of Representatives. While working for the Commission, David was responsible for monitoring the press, both U.S. and foreign, for articles relating to the conflict in Bosnia-Herzegovina, the emerging states of the former Soviet Union, and all related multi-national business ventures.

David has also served his community in leadership capacities with Conejo Valley Flag Football, YMCA Adventure Guides, and the Grand Lodge of California, Free and Accepted Masons, where he has been a member of the committees on Jurisprudence
and Trial Review.
