Catherine F. Lukehart
Of Counsel
Catherine F. Lukehart has been a member of the California Bar since 1991. She began her career working for a notable products liability and medical malpractice plaintiff’s firm. After that, she spent over eight years at a defense firm in Los Angeles on the “fraud team,” litigating cases involving suspected insurance fraud. After leaving LA, she opened her own practice in Orange County, defending and prosecuting a variety of first and third-party civil claims including personal injury, defamation, and business-related torts. Catherine has extensive experience handling all aspects of a case from the initial client meeting through court/jury trial. She has also drafted appellate briefs and represented clients in the 4th District Court of Appeal.
While practicing in Orange County, Catherine worked with the Huntington Beach Police Department as its Homeless Outreach Coordinator. In that capacity, she created practices and protocols for assisting homeless individuals and families with housing, health care, and employment. She also spent six years as a mock trial coach for St. John Bosco High School and St. Joseph High School, taking them to annual competitions at the Stanley Mosk courthouse in downtown LA.
In her free time, Catherine co-hosts the true crime podcast, Killer Destinations. She and her husband also love boating with their family where Catherine can exhibit her extremely mediocre wakeboarding skills.
