With over 22 years of dedicated experience in the insurance industry, Pravitri Nawbatt has developed a deep expertise in managing complex claims and investigating fraudulent activities. Her career began with State Farm Insurance in Toronto, Canada, where she worked in the Property Damage Total Loss department. After relocating to Santa Clara, CA, she continued her journey with State Farm, progressing through roles in Property Damage, Injury, and eventually Complex Injury, Litigation, and Uninsured Motorist claims.

As a Field SIU Adjuster, Pravitri specialized in uncovering fraud rings, conducting interviews, attending depositions, and negotiating settlements, which led to significant claims payment avoidance for the company. Following State Farm’s exit from California, she took a brief hiatus to focus on her family before joining GEICO in 2019 as a Senior Fraud Investigator. In this role, she investigated potential fraudulent claims, conducted interviews, canvassed scenes, and collaborated with the Department of Insurance and the District Attorney’s office for potential prosecution.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending quality time with her two teenage boys and husband. Her hobbies include cooking and experimenting with new recipes, attending concerts, and traveling.
