Maria Najera rose to Colman Perkins Law Group's Senior Legal Support Manager in 2024. She joined CPLG 10 years earlier, becoming legal assistant to Managing Partner Jonathan H. Colman and Partner James J. Perkins. She served as Senior Legal Assistant Supervisor prior to her role as Manager.

Beginning her legal secretary career in 2000, she has worked for law offices specializing in both plaintiff and defense litigation.

Maria earned a paralegal certificate from Los Angeles Valley College, and is a member of the Los Angeles Legal Secretary Association.

A proud Californian, Maria believes that with hard work, motivation and education you can achieve anything.

She is inspired by football coach Jimmy Johnson, who said, “The difference between ordinary and extraordinary is that little extra.”
