Staged auto accident seminar

Attorney and principal Jon Colman, expert on staged automobile accident claims, will present a seminar designed to give claims specialists practical tips on this growing problem. Jon, accompanied by Mike Rice of Impact General, will provide unique insights to assist attendees in discovering, proving and litigating suspected car insurance fraud.

Session on suspect UMBI claims

Jon will also deliver a breakout session with Ken Oswald, insurance claim consultant and expert bad faith witness. Entitled “Resolving the Suspect Uninsured Motorist Bodily Injury Claim,” the course was created to address the low frequency of uninsured motorist bodily injury claims (UMBI) referred for special investigation. The discussion will give claim adjusters and SIU investigators, who typically have little training in this type of claim exposure, opportunities to identify suspect UMBI claims that are being missed.

The conference also features an exhibitors’ expo, sessions by industry leaders and many opportunities for networking and career development. The event is expected to draw upwards of 500 industry professionals, from all areas of the anti-fraud community.
